Our Story

April 20, 1975, was the beginning for the Apostolics of Eagle Lake. Being raised in a Pastor’s home & passing down the heritage of the church, founding Pastor, Rev. Billy H. & Sis. Jessie Tummond held their first service on that date. Rev. Tummond continued the leadership until retiring June 8, 2003 as Pastor and now serves as our Bishop. The Pastorate continued with Rev. Joe David & Vickie Sizemore Jr for the next 10 yrs. Starting in 2013 interim Pastor, Rev Wilson & Karla Murphy continued in leadership until July 2015 at which time Pastor Randy J. & Sis. Nan Crowley began and continues to Pastor the Apostolics of Eagle Lake. Prior to becoming Pastor Bro. & Sis. Crowley had been faithful members of the church since early 1980’s. He first served as our Sunday School Superintendent, then a Minister in our assembly before becoming Pastor. Also, he has been and still is our Director of Music for several years. Sis. Nan Crowley began her membership with the Apostolics of Eagle Lake as a child and now assists her husband as they Pastor together.

They are passionate about God, their family and the church family. They treasure reaching out to the community and helping someone find a new beginning with God in their life. They have been married for 43 yrs! They have two sons & daughters-in-laws, Aaron & Amber; Brandon & Michelle; One granddaughter married, Allyson & Cody & six little people who call them Papa & Grannan; Nathan, Ireland, Arielle, Ella, Cadence & River.
